SIG Skills Practice: Series of Dojos
With Sage Magdalene
March 2 - 6, 2026
Gate will lead a series of 9 Dojos (skills practice sessions) in March These one-hour sessions will begin with a focus on the skills discussed in the January GSIM with Impossible Dreamer. You may participate in any number of the 9 Dojos. Dojos are quick-paced practice sessions in which the group will divide into breakout rooms to experiment with exercises designed to develop particular SIG skills. Dojos are fun, intimate, connective, and can support a deeper capacity for guiding from MPI and breaking conditioned ways of reacting to the pressures of interactive guiding. They are also a way of getting to know guides and SAIPiens and deepening our learning community.
You may watch the GSIM session led by Impossible and also read the email he sent on this topic. You may attend and participate even if you don’t watch the GSIM video recording.
Sessions will be held at 6-7 am PT, and 12-1 pm PT every day, (except Thursday March 5, there will be no afternoon session):
Tuesday, March 3, 6 am & noon Pacific Time
Wednesday, March 4, 6 am & noon Pacific Time
Thursday, March 5, 6 am Pacific Time (no noon session)
Friday, March 6, 6 am & noon Pacific Time
